edgeofmyseat.com is currently looking for an experienced web developer to join us for an initial 3 month contract.
Minimum requirements * Fluent in Object Oriented PHP and MySQL * Solid understanding of database design * XHTML and CSS knowledge - including CSS as used for layouts. Nested tables and font tags are not required here. * Any experience in DOM Scripting, AJAX and with the use of JavaScript libraries is a plus point * An enthusiasm for the web, and in standards-based development. You will be up to date with the latest trends and ideas and keen to bring your own skills and ideas to projects We are based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK. While you will be working mainly from your own home while working for us, we do need you to be within commutable distance of our office. We understand that not everyone functions best between the hours of 9 to 5 and are happy to consider flexible or 'family friendly' working hours - as long as deadlines are met and the work gets done.
