Paul Bidwell should be called by the people of Bracknell to fly an Independent flag and make a bid to become their Bracknell MP.
I have known Paul for about 10 years and every year he has been looking at some way to give back to the local community. An ex Naval engineer, I believe he helped Nelson to Victory... bum, bum... he sailed the seven seas and now spends a chunk of his energy helping Bracknell Royal Naval Association’s old sea dogs have the time of their lives. This year he’s only managed to get the council to put on a major celebration for Veterans Day. He got muggings to do the website for his usual voluntary fee!! And now the big wigs at naval HQ keep bumping into his mug all over the web. This week he’s in The Standard! (photo) He met his wife while visiting McDonalds. He ordered a Big Mac to go and walked out with a Little Shell, reminded him of the days on the Pacific with Elvis... and today their little rowing boat has turned in to a Health and Safety “Frigate” on its way to be an “Aircraft carrier”! Absolute Health and Safety Solutions Limited He is known far and wide as a top bloke and I would like to see the local hero land the job and make Bracknell a better place for future generations.
