Berkshire man is TV talent hopeful
Berkshire has its fair share of celebrities, but one more could soon be joining the ranks of superstardom.
Matt Wallis, who regularly performs in Bracknell, has showcased his flair in front of the Britain's Got Talent judging panel, Bracknell News reports.
Mr Wallis, who lives in Reading, is now waiting for a chance to perform his singing talents in front of music mogul and TV bad guy Simon Cowell.
ITV bosses singled out 35-year-old Mr Wallis to be filmed and appear on the next series of the hit TV show.
Mr Wallis stated that he sang You Raise Me Up and that it was well received.
"The audition went very well, the producer said he knew the person who originally sang the song I performed - but that he liked my performance," he told the publication.
This news comes after it was revealed by the Bracknell News that local beauty Sarah-Jane Page is to be catapulted into the limelight after winning a modelling contract and will appear on the cover of the News of the World's 2008 calendar.
