Local lass wins national modelling competition |

A local girl has won the chance to appear on the cover of News of the World's 2008 calendar.
Bracknell honey Sarah-Jane Page is to get the chance of a lifetime after fighting off other would-be glamour models to win a modelling contract, the Bracknell News reports. The 20-year-old from Abbotsbury, Great Hollands, was shortlisted with 16 other hopefuls and went to a studio for a final photo shoot. Ms Page is delighted to have been chosen by the voting public. "I can't believe I've won. I've wanted to be a model for ages so this is a brilliant chance for me. Hopefully soon I'll be in magazines like FHM, that's the aim," she told the publication. Ms Page is a fitness instructor and attended Easthampstead Park School.
