Waitrose to return? |
|||
Waitrose may be considering a return to the streets of Bracknell, it has been reported.
According to the Bracknell News, the company wants to look for a new site in the town, which could be good news to food lovers in the area. James Armstrong of Waitrose said that the firm are looking for the right location in the area. "Although it has not been possible on this occasion, we are keen to find a suitable site within Bracknell in the future," he commented to the publication. The company has its headquarters in Bracknell's Southern Industrial site but said it could not discuss possible locations for the build due to commercial reasons. A meeting of angry residents prompted the comments as a petition has already been signed to stop a move to nearby Sandhurst. Elsewhere in the area, the nightclub Angels has applied to the council for a lap dancing licence, Bracknell News notes. www.businessinberkshire.co.uk
