Vodafone business user focus group

Last week contained a huge variety of experiences and so I thought I’d concentrate on one to help give my brain calm, on this, the first day of the school holidays! Isn’t this year just flying by? Life just seems to get quicker... my objective for the second half of the year will be to try to focus on the benefits of a calmer, slower, more productive time.
So just before I get into the Vodafone business user focus group article... have you heard the tale about the young bull and the old bull?.. it was the first story I published on area 8, way back when we launched the CMS in 2004. Brilliant and a great example of slowing things down... hey, it’s not a new technique, been around since the world was flat! Back to the Vodafone business user focus group. ( Have you noticed how I have repeated the title of the article a few times?.. This is all part of seo and giving an article strength.) So there I was, sitting at my desk working on some random act of brilliance when the phone rang from an agency up in town. “We’re looking to connect with business people who help other business people ... we only require 2 hours of your time ... you will be speaking to half a dozen folk from Vodafone ... and we’ll give you £100 as a gift.” So let’s evaluate this... they want to put me in front of key people from Vodafone ... they will come to my town ... and they will pay me for my time. They get cheap consultancy, I get the ability to “pitch” to decision makers within Vodafone, at a single venue, locally... err, go on then!! Not had the call yet to take on the role of associate director for connection with our customers, but I didn’t have to go to the cash point this weekend!! Marvellous...
