We've added social media turbos to BinB |
I always observe, to those that care to listen, that if I start rattling on doors in one direction then the phone will ring with something from another. What I mean is that its about the energy you put out ... if you are trying to make things happen then, in the words of Mike Doolley, the Universe can’t help itself … it has to kick in and start dancing with you :) Today I have been focussed on calling up those running social media events and this afternoon the phone rang from someone with a business, with potential, they would like to promote … balance ! I read this blog post earlier today, by marketing guru Will Corry of the Marketing Blog "Increasingly, customers don't want to be sold to, they want to experience your brand and offerings through the experiences of others - so that is why your story needs to be upfront in as many social media sites as possible" Interesting looking at the stats, 25% of our BinB audience comes in from overseas and so it makes sense to enable the world to understand what we’re on about by giving them a tool to facilitate translation … so we have added the Google Translate widget to our site. To enable people to spread our content as far and wide, as implied by Will’s blog, we’ve added the Addthis widget to our BinB site. With links of to our other key social media sites and our valued sponsors we are fighting fit and ready to go for the second half of 2010. The new format will be deployed across all our sites very shortly for your viewing pleasure. For those that haven’t seen our recent communications, the £25.50 level of membership will not be available to new members from the 1st September as we’ll be focussing on bespoke added value service agreements with new customers as most totally underutilise BinB’s potential and we want our brand flying, soaring above other less equipped pages :) So if you have been meaning to join in then sign up today and ensure you add content, content, content to maximise your online profile and ensure others can bump into you their contacts as they see the relevance. www.businessinberkshire.co.uk Thank you.
