Is Google BUZZ more than intelligent Twitter? For the last year or so the world has been gripped by celebrities telling us what they have been having for breakfast on Twitter … now with Google BUZZ they can video it, take a picture, add 140 words rather than 140 characters and we can get an even better understanding of their world. Are they using bone china or plastic plates? At 11am are they still in their pyjamas?? I’m liking the feel of Google BUZZ as it integrates neatly with their calendar which I’ve been meaning to use more and Google's email platform. With my laptop taking a turn for the worst, I find myself migrating back to a previous tower which seems quicker, if twice the age, of the laptop … I’m so bored with having to load software onto new laptops for them to go pop! Working off a cloud makes total sense and integrating that with partners longer term seems to be the most secure way to proceed … Imagine 5 years in the future you get on the train and instead of it being littered with paper there will be free i-sheets that have not just today’s news but this seconds news with adverts that go inside your head that you cannot ignore, your credit card comes out and you buy something as you arrive at Paddington there is a man waiting with your parcel … you immediately unwrap your new gold pen and wonder when you will actually need to use it … hey but it looks great!!
