Bring on the summer online marketing magic
|
Last week we did the London thing, yesterday it was Pinewood Studios! It was a beautiful day and wish I still had the Audi convertible... shame that it went pop a couple of years back. The Mrs had taken me quietly to one side a couple of years ago, as we were preparing for major building work at the house and said that I could only keep one of my toys as there wasn’t the space for more.
I chose the Audi over the motorbike after seeing a few kids buzzing around on those moped things. On one sunny day, driving down to the hairdressers for my quarterly grade 2/3, past Browns on the river bank, there was a young chap on the deck, the fire brigade doing their thing. It was an easy, although sad, choice... the bike went to a good home. Friend of a friend who used to work on Concorde, so he knew his cam belt from his seat belt, rather more than I did/do! Anyway, the bike went and a few months later the car went pop. Heater matrix blew on the M4 on my way to Tipperary, well Reading but close enough! Thought they’d fixed it but a wedding trip a week or so later proved they hadn’t! At least it was another sunny day!!!! Anyway, back to Pinewood and the chat with my mate Paul, aka Jazzmouse. We’ve got a good thing going on and some seriously top of their game artists are making enquiries about how we can help them grow and prosper. Went past the 007 building... you know the current James Bond... well you probably don’t but I believe he lives in Windsor, just round the corner from me, don’t ya know! Another mate of mine was at Pinewood the other day too. His good lady was Dancing on Ice. You probably saw him blubbering, soft lad. Reckoned she was dancing to their wedding song. Well I was at the wedding and I’m sure it was Aga doo, doo, doo they kicked off with! Reminded him of his days in Greece back when he had a mullet, check out him and Vinnie Jones, bottom right.
