Bank targets top Berkshire business women
A prestigious London bank is targeting successful Berkshire business women, according to the Slough Observer.
Coutts and Co found that Berkshire is a hot spot for wealthy women and has chosen the county for its first lunch for business women. A total of 13 local women took part in the lunch.
"Berkshire has a vibrant community of high-flying women and with a 21 per cent female client base in our Eton office, this is an important growth area for our business," explained Sarah Deaves, Coutts' chief executive.
She added: "We do business with over 9,500 of the country's top entrepreneurs and professionals and have found that they particularly value meeting each other at events like this, which we hold on a regular basis across the country."
Joanne Bone-Ridley, owner of The Berkshire Garden Centre, was one of the women attending the event.
She told the paper: "The lunch was a great opportunity to meet some of my peers from the region and share with them my experiences in business from a woman's perspective."
