AppSwing Ltd in Whitley have recently picked up the impressive Investors in People Award for its on-going commitment to training its employees to attain business goals.

The appraisal, which occurred in last November, recognised AppSwing’s major strengths in having a clear business plan, excellent staff communications and a commitment to personal development. Staff felt involved and appreciated.

AppSwing assists organisations to open up their current IT systems to innovative ways of working, making it possible for remote staff to access and update centrally-held data from mobile devices such as a PDA or BlackBerry. Clients include the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and Vodafone.

An additional evaluation will take place in three years’ time to certify that the company has managed to maintain success through its employees.
