Update Your BinB Accounts
Business in Berkshire had 36,000 visitors to 160,000 pages in March and we are attracting the attention of the bigger players in the Internet world...
To ensure we impress all our visitors with the quality of information available then we need to go through a spring cleaning process.
Spurred on by one of our regular members, Andy Palmer, see his observations below... we are currently knocking on the doors of all our members and asking them to update the information or upgrade to one of our Crusader or Campaigner accounts.
Many, who have been receiving our regular communications for up to 4 years now, are choosing to give our Crusader membership a go... even if it's only for 3 months, at £275 + Vat it's a bargain to those who truely understand the internet and what we have to offer. Give us a try... what have you got to loose, £275?
Andrew's email to me only last week...
Jon, having had a few moments to peruse the members list of Business in Berkshire (maybe looking for new contacts too!), I noticed that many users are not updating their free 2 page sites with relevant or even irrelevant content. As you are aware, Crossplatform update their BinB Site perhaps once a week. This enables us to tell everyone out there what we are up to, special offers, where we think we can improve on our service and of course the odd "PR Plug".
BinB has been an invaluable resource for Crossplatform. It has improved our search engine rankings no end and not just on "Google" . I do believe however, that this has only occurred because we actually pay for the service and by doing that we get featured regularly in your newsletters which generate great enquiries and of course some business!
I think it would be a great idea for all your "free" users to upgrade to a paid for service to enable them to fully exploit the massive potential of the offering.
The Business in Berkshire web site is about promoting Berkshire based companies. The search engine positioning alone is worth around 500 quid a year surely!
Of course, if any of your potential clients would like to talk to me about how I view Business in Berkshire - I would be happy to talk to them at anytime.
Best regards
Andrew Palmer
