Where to stay in the Lake District
Ali & I took the kids to the Lake District for a few days and stayed at Townson Ground.
We found the website while searching on the web. Since we were looking for 4-5 days, rather than a full week, we opted for their caravan option.
Each day we have taken the family on a walk up mountains and down dales, as recommended by Rocky Ramblers. An excellent resource for great walks, checked out by professionals and presented in a very entertaining / educational way for kids and adults alike.
There are hundreds of attractions within rowing distance from Coniston.
