Bracknell Forest council calls business views on budget
Bracknell Forest businesses are being asked to give their views on the council's new budget to help keep council tax bills low.

Business representatives are being invited by Bracknell Forest Borough Council to have their say about spending plans for the next financial year in the area.

The council will be providing detailed information about the budget as it tries to keep its council tax down. Currently Bracknell Forest has one of the lowest council taxes of any unitary authority in the country.

Leader of the council Paul Bettison said: "We will be lobbying the government to get as good a deal as we can for Bracknell Forest.

"In the meantime we urge all businesses, as well as our residents, to take part in the public consultation and tell us what is important to them so we can make decisions based on what they want to see happen."

The council is turning to business for advice as government changes to funding means the budget is being squeezed.

The meeting will take place at the council chambers on January 23rd at 5.30 pm.
