ROYAL ASCOT FORECASTED WINNERS FOR WEDNESDAY JUNE 17th

2.30 Jersey Stakes (Class 1) (Group 3). 7 f

GALLAGHER has not been on peak performance sine last October, although can not be entirely neglected if suddenly returning to form. After all, GALLAGHER still carries the highest rating! I would tend to go for a proven strong pace horse and Breders Cup Juvenile Turf winner DONATIVUM when came 4th but would need to up the pace. This leaves John Hills’ ASHRAM with Dettori aboard today. Although disappointed at 2000 gns, I would plump for ASHRAM because Dettori could just squeeze more from the horse now wearing visors first time.

Main bet: ASHRAM 10/1 e/w
Next best: GALLAGHER 9/1 e/w

3.05 Windsor Forest Stakes (Class 1) (Group 2) (fillies & Mares) 1m straight.

LUSH LASHES is what the professional punter is eyeing today. Although soundly beaten last time out the ground was undoubtedly to blame. Today, however, everything is in her favour and although there are other contenders, mentioning HEAVEN SENT as one of them, LUSH LASHES, for Ireland, should take all the beating.

Main bet: LUSH LASHES 13/8

3.45 Prince of Wales’s Stakes (Class 1) (Group 1). 1m 2f

Sir Michael Stoute trains 4 year old Group 1’s and they get there or there abouts, but today TARTAN BEARER could well be finely-tuned for this race. VISION D’ETAT could give him most to do but I see TARTAN BEARER as the one to beat.

Main bet: TARTAN BEARER 7/4

4.20 Royal Hunt Cup (Heritage Handicap) (Class 2) 1m straight.

31 go to post so I’ll do my best! A group class horse, well handicapped and from a yard which has proven ability to deliver at this level is CADRE. However, CADRE is a tricky so and so who doesn’t act well in the stalls. If all does not go well on that front then LUCKY DANCE could be worth a look who made all in an 18 runner race a Newmarket last November. Could be a useful e/w punt.

Main bet: CADRE 7/1
Each way fun bet: LUCKY DANCE 331 e/w

4.55 Queen Mary Stakes (Class 1) (Group 2) (Fillies) 5f

CEEDWELL has hat-trick prospects in this race following emphatic wins at Carlisle and Catterick. Up against CEEDWELL are DON’T TELL MARY, MISHEER AND CAPERCAILLIE. All these should be there or thereabouts so which to choose? I am going for CAPERCAILLIE simply because the trainer Mark Johnson, thinks this horse his banker of the meeting! We shall see. . However, following America’s surprise win yesterday at 50/1 in the last race was the one which horse trainer Wesley Ward didn’t rate as highly as JEALOUS AGAIN in this race - well, let’s have a side bet and see what happens?

Main bet: CAPERCAILLIE 6/1 each way
Next best: JEALOUS AGAIN 16/1

5.30 Sandringham Rated Stakes (Class 1) (Handicap) (Listed Race) (3yr olds) 1m straight

21 go to post. This really is impossible and I’m going with the major predictors on this that SAY NO NOW and GOOD AGAIN are as good as if not better than many.

Main bet: SAY SO NOW 12/1
Next best: GOOD AGAIN 9/1 each way

GOOD LUCK
