According to Matt Williams of the Racing Post, ORIZABA is the banker of the meeting after producing a polished performance on his debut to win a competitive Newbury maiden by 9 lengths. The entry of ARTS CONNOISSEUR, who displayed an impressive turn of foot to win both starts over 5fl is a surprise decision for this 6fl race as was expected to be entered for the 5fl Norfolk Stakes so remains a puzzle. HIMALYA is well regarded but on wide draw.
