Bracknell Royal Naval Association - Trafalgar Celebration Cancelled

The Chairman of Bracknell Royal Naval Association (RNA) would like to announce that due to the lack of support from local businesses, rising costs and overhead charges the planned 'Celebration For Trafalgar' to be be held at South Hill Park, Bracknell on 4th September 2005 is now cancelled.

This action also cancels the proposed Painting Competition related to the event. The Chairman wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result.

The Chairman would like to thank all those who gave their time and effort in the preparation to date and that it must be noted that Lord Nelson would have been proud in the knowledge that a selected few did their duty, as expected.

The Bracknell RNA will hold the 200th anniversary dear to their hearts and on 21st October 2005 will toast one of England's best known heroes - Lord Horatio Nelson.
