HONOUR THE COVENANT
There is growing anger amongst the service community that the historic Military Covenant, which states soldiers and their families should be properly looked after in return for the sacrifices they make in the line of duty, is not being upheld.

The Military Covenant does not have the force of law, but has been enshrined through convention, custom, and contemporary application, and it represents the Nation’s moral commitment to its Armed Forces.

The Royal British Legion is leading the campaign for the recognition of this Covenant to be up held

Armed Forces Day, 27 June. Honouring Britain's Armed Forces - Past, Present and Future.
