Bobby's Full English Breakfast is back!

After spending a very successful last five months increasing the ratings on Time 106.6’s new “Late and Live” night-time show - making it one of the most listened-to shows at that time of night - Sam Jackson (aka Bobby Gee) is returning to Island FM in Zakynthos (Zante) Greece for the third season.

Simon Yates station manager, at Time 106.6 said “We’re sorry to lose Sam Jackson (aka Bobby Gee for the summer, but we’d love to welcome him back again at the end of the season.
But we are in discussion with him to try and broadcast a weekly show from the holiday Island on Time - so watch this space!”

With a new extended Full English Breakfast show from 9 to noon, Monday to Friday, Bobby Gee’s first show of the new season was broadcast Wednesday, 21 May 2008.

Bob’s sponsors are very happy to have him back and renew his sponsorship deal for the second year.

Penny Draper, the owner of Zakyta Travel in Zakynthos said:

“After the great success we had with the show it would be silly not to renew our sponsorship before someone else gets in there! Bobby does a great entertaining and informative show and has a lot of listeners. He plays great music too – so what more could a sponsor ask?”

Before returning to Zante, Bob Goertz regularly interviewed Jon Davey, editor of Business in Berkshire, for his radio show on Time 106.6. Tuesday evenings around 10:30pm Jon would announce business events going on in the area and Bob would ask questions about t'Internet!

Feeling the summer vibe, although the weather is a little pants hear in the UK, Jon thought it would be fun to help Bob out.

“Let’s see if we can’t help increase the UK listener base and get people to tune in before they set off for their summer holidays on one of Greece’s great holiday islands, Zante!”
