Berkshire Community Foundation - The Berkshire Community Foundation

In January, the Foundation awarded £25,000 to 5 groups via the Strategic Grants stream. This supports projects which multiply the impact of the group, and considerably enhance the voluntary sector’s ability to tackle a particular need in depth or over a wider geographical area.

Age Concern Reading, £6,000 p.a. for two years

Bracknell Branch of the Parkinson’s Disease Society, £7,500 p.a. for two years

Bracknell & District Citizens Advice Bureau, £5,000 p.a. for two years

Greenham Youth & Community Project, £5,000 p.a. for two years

Reading Community Radio, £4,000 p.a. for two years

These groups will also help raise the profile of the Community Foundation in its search for support to tackle local need.
