Snowdrops Raising Funds

One of the best places in Berkshire to see snowdrops in their millions is at Welford Park. James Puxley opened the grounds to the public and donated all the proceeds from the entrance fees to the Berkshire Community Foundation this year.

Many thanks to volunteers from the Soroptomists and local solicitors, Horsey Lightly Fynn, for their help on the day. Over 700 people came to enjoy a day out, with £2,100 raised in collections. The day out was particularly enjoyed by the group of older and disabled older people who travelled using the Readibus transport, who have received support to purchase minibuses via our grants.
