Introduction
Since 1985 the Foundation has been awarding grants and in 2005 - 6 we will award over £500,000. (PLEASE NOTE - only Berkshire based groups can apply for a grant)

Berkshire Give A Child A Chance Grants
For Organisations –up to £2,000 for equipment or specific projects which support or enhance the lives of children aged 0 - 18. Priority is given to those groups supporting children who face significant disadvantages
For Individuals –up to £1,000 for equipment or appropriate support for families with children who have significant needs
From September 2004, children in East Berkshire ie Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead will be eligible to apply for a Berkshire Give A Child A Chance grant (as well as children in the rest of the county). Contact Ray Emmans today for more information – 0118 930 3021.
Global Grants – up to £10,000 for a wide range of projects and activities that enable people to develop their skills and confidence as a means of progressing towards employment. The running costs of new or additional activities can be included in the application.
Fast Track Grants - £500 to £1,500 for the same purpose as Global Grants but with particular priority given to supporting the work of smaller groups.
Enterprise Fast Track Grants - These grants of up to £1,500 are intended to meet the needs of new community or social enterprises.
Local Network Fund For Children and Young People - Grants of between £250 and £7,000 are available to organise or run activities with disadvantaged children and young people, aged 0 - 19. If your project fits one of the following themes you may be eligible to apply for a grant - aspirations and achievements, improving economic disadvantage, reducing isolation and improving access and children's voices.
