Apprentice Programme - Need Advice About International Business?

At the recent Business in Berkshire Apprentice event in Reading, Terry Enga of UK Trade & Investment gave attendees some insight into the kind of help available for businesses wishing to export their goods or services.

Terry’s focus is on companies wishing to break into overseas markets. His organisation offers a wide range of help regarding advice and finance (grants are available). This year alone UKTI have helped companies branch out into Sweden, Spain, France, Holland, Turkey, Mexico, India, and China.

The UKTI teams will support you with their local knowledge and contacts, maximising your chance of winning new business overseas. At home, International Trade Advisers like Terry are experts in doing business overseas and can offer essential, impartial advice on all aspects of international trade. In addition there are sector specialists who can provide advice tailored specifically to your industry.

Terry Enga is an Imperial College graduate, Chartered Engineer and MBA. He worked in the oil and gas industry for twenty seven years mostly in R&D, before leaving to create an Intellectual Property consultancy - Novarlis. He joined UKTI in 2004.
