Late Delivery of DVD ROM?
We got a call on Tuesday night at 7pm - yes we still answer the phone at that time of night.
It went like this:
Customer: "Umm, what's the chance of getting 12,000 DVD ROM to us on Thursday lunchtime as the DVD Supplier we chose over you cannot deliver until Next Tuesday?"
Us: "Every chance but let me check with production and I will get back to you in the morning"
As it turned out the 4 DVD manufactures we use were stacked out until the next week. However, we could get 12,000 DVDR to our client by Friday at 12 noon - sadly that was not good enough and the client now has to post the brand pack WITHOUT the DVD and send the DVD later - moral of the story? Call us first and don't use anyone else - you know it makes sense!
