Scrummy Mummy Curry Night |
On a cold January night approximately 65 ladies ventured out for a Scrummy Mummy Curry Night in aid of the Alexander Devine Children’s Cancer Trust.
The menu was home cooked, with chicken curry, vegetable curry, rice and side salad to tempt the taste buds, followed by a choice of delicious desserts. All washed down with a glass of wine. There followed a small raffle with the top prize being a spa day including lunch at a local four star hotel. The evening was a great success, with a lovely atmosphere and a chance for the ladies to sit and have a chat, make new friends and catch up with old ones. The evening raised a total of £1,000 for ADCCT with lots of requests of “when can we do it again.” We would like to thank all our sponsors for the evening but especially our fantastic cooks, Carmel Wakely and Kiran Jabble. Our sincere thanks to all our guests who also supported us so generously. If you would like to make a donation, click here and make your contribution via our Gift Aid form. |
