ADCCT supporters are looking forward to the Trust's annual black-tie fundraising ball, which will be held on 15th May 2009 at the Oakley Court Hotel in Windsor. Now in its third year, the event has raised £20,000 and £25,000 in previous years. How much will the Heaven Sent ball raise in 2009 in support of a local children's hospice in Berkshire? Named by one of the Trustees in memory of Alexander, the Heaven Sent ball has a heavenly theme, with stars and angels creating a glittering atmosphere matched only by the ladies' party dresses. The Oakley Court Hotel can only seat 180 people so the Ball is a more intimate affair than some fundraisers, giving key trustees and supporters of ADCCT the chance to celebrate the Trust's achievements together. A delicious meal, silent auction and dance are set against a beautiful backdrop of silver and white.
