DDA Access Audit
Scope
Throughout the industry different companies are legally bound to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and all its Statutory Provisions along with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). New Regulations and Codes of Practice are impacting every company throughout the UK. As an employer you must identify whether your company complies and whether your premises and facilities can have reasonable adjustments implemented to ensure disabled people have equal opportunities in applying for and staying in work, and disabled persons visting the premises where the premises is a service provider. This can be undertaken by means of a DDA Access Audit

Legislation

  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

  • Disability Discrimination Act 1995

  • Disability Discrimination Act 2005

  • Service

    • Undertake a detailed DDA Access Audit of your business operation and benchmark compliance.

    • Identify and quantify all areas of weakness and provide practical recommendations for minimum compliance and good working practices.

    • Prepare a detailed action plan to ensure minimum compliance within practical time constraints.

Following the DDA Access Audit, Absolute Health and Safety Solutions Ltd can also assist with the development, maintenance and implementation of required safety management systems to meet your company’s needs.
