New Innovation Testimonial

Testimonial from Snoopstick.co.uk

'The speed and efficiency of service from Business in Berkshire was fantastic. My website was designed and online in no time - and indexed by Google straightaway'

'As a relatively new business we were looking for an inexpensive website solution to help us get established. Most of the web design companies I spoke to were either too expensive or didn't seem confident about getting the site picked up by the search engines...

Good morning <07 Name>

Today's intro will be relatively short as my shoulder is giving me serious jip from not sitting in the right position. We're in rented accommodation while our 2 bed bungalow is being turned into a 5 bed house. This means that much of the work I would do in the office is being done in an environment not conducive to positive physical consideration and therefore I will be a tad irritable until I get my shoulder fully mobile. I am having work done on this, more next week on who and how things are going.

I would like to be mobile for the weekend as we are going to a mate's wedding in Yorkshire. Fifteen years ago, Ray and I were out most nights "'havin' it large!" or as us northerners would say, "getting ankered" or some similar naval term! Ray's finally taking the plunge and is marrying a loose woman! (Coleen Nolan, teenage pop star and TV personality)

This week's been great, out and about, meeting people. Last Wednesday I met John Hutton at Baylis House and shared some of my views on business. YOU could have been there too but only a few of you showed interest! Why is it that people moan about this, that and the other but when the opportunity comes along to say something to the people that make the decisions we avoid it? We'd rather read about Paris Hilton's latest video!

Friday saw me in the Premiere Suite at Madejski Stadium at Mary's latest networking lunch aimed at those on their way to making their first million. If you are serious about building your business you should check it out. If you are in multi level marketing or in a lifestyle business, it probably isn't for you.

Saturday, Charlie and I were back at the Madejski, as guests of The Evening Chronicle, to watch Reading v Newcastle. Shame about the score line for me but Charlie was well chuffed. He guessed the score and the first goal, I put the bet on and we won £80! Marvellous...

Yesterday morning I was at the TVEP Innovation breakfast. That Andy Carr is a top bloke. In a previous life he was a salesman, so he understands business building. If you are in the Innovation space you should have a chat with him. Hopefully he'll be coming along to our Innovation Lunch, on 15th November at the Renaissance Hotel, Reading. Get yourself along if you are an innovator or someone who helps those with great ideas to move forward. This event will be totally about everyone in the room knowing what everyone else does by the end of the networking lunch. You don't have to share your idea, just get along and see if you mentally connect with anyone who can help you. It could be the first step to getting your idea off the ground.

Last night I went along to Sebastian's Quality Directory Networking event. Sebastian and I are talking about how we can help our members generate more business, so watch this space.

Join us on the 15th November even if you don't have an innovative idea... it may well give you the nourishment you need to spark a billion ideas!

If you're looking for firewords, try Windsor Racecourse on Saturday, the Rotary Club will be collecting.

Bullies Star Prize

Every now and again I get some very unusual offers, most you just smile sweetly and say ' I don't think so!' When a challenge that is so different comes along - you just have to have a go- don't you.

The lovely Brian Smith from Escalator Marketing, a dear friend for a number of years invited me to join him to the Open Day at Bisley. Yes - the rifle range place. It turns out the mild mannered Mr Smith is a President of a rather posh rifle club- you can never tell what people do by looking at them - can you?
