Another busy old week at the ranch with over 30 businesses applying for a FREE business website. It brought the total to over 100 for the month which is a great boost. It's good to know you're listening and looking for opportunities to build your business. Our FreeB accounts are a great start for those yet to be enlightened about what can be achieved with full membership of Business in Berkshire!
We've just been doing some work on a website that came to us through one of our partners who recognises our ability to get things done. If we can't make it work one way, we'll look for an alternative approach that ticks the boxes. The key to all this is trust, knowing you are putting your project in safe hands. This obviously comes with time and can't be rushed.
Anyway, it made me realise that we don't really promote the fact that we can build bespoke websites for your visitor pleasure. Well we can and we'll show you how we bring these together over the coming months as we get more Berkshire focussed and ensure those that are searching for Berkshire solutions find us or one of our clients.
It has been brought to our attention that we have too many pages on our left menu for the average bear to get their head round so we'll be streamlining our BinB and LiaiseOnline websites to menus of 5 options. We'll also be making better use of our own toolkit! We talk about focussing sites down on a topic so we'll we creating a bunch of websites that have a specific mission, to attract visitors and get them to read our message rather than wander off into the ether, never to be seen again.
You have ½ a second to grab their attention.... so make the most of it dude and let us help you learn from our mistakes and those of our friends who are good enough to share their wisdom with us and anyone who cares to listen.
This month's Meeting of the Minds will be a week earlier than planned as we'd originally booked it for the 29th but that's in the school holidays, and apparently we're out of here for a well earned break. Our event will be based on generating content but not as you know it! We'll be looking for you to come and share your opinions on 4 pre selected topics in a Question Time sort of way. Not that we'll have a bunch of egos dominating proceedings, we'll be looking for members to come along and comment. These comments will be aggregated and turned into 4 quality pieces which will be broadcast as the main articles in subsequent weeks. Everyone who attends will be mentioned in the article, gaining the maximum exposure for all concerned. Just need to firm up the date and identify a few topics for yet another 'first' in the annals of BinB.
