fly at the top of the newsletter, with around 100 words and a
picture.
General articles pushed out by members who'd rather not pay the
£90 - £180 per Feature / Special Feature are then shown as a title
and a few words.

Hazards in the
Workplace
There is a vast volume of information and resources on the
web to assist employers and employees in ensuring the workplace is a safe place
to be. The Health and Safety Executive has an excellent website
(www.hse.gov.uk) that provides free documents to help plan your own campaigns.
And Absolute Health and Safety Solutions have produced numerous articles that
can help you address potential hazards in your work place.

IPR
Explained
One of the main aims of InnovationShowcase.co.uk
is to provide information on product commercialisation, which will inevitably
raise questions relating to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR); whether the
innovator concerned has taken any specific acts to protect their IPR or
not.
If you havent, then all might not be lost although you may
be less well protected than you would prefer.
Many business people
believe that being the first to market and getting ahead of the competition is
enough; that you cannot stop the importation of mass-produced fakes whatever
you do; and IPR is just too expensive to consider.

Getting started
with stocks
Getting started with stocks If youve
decided to take the risk and invest in the stock market, you need to know the
basics. I mentioned devising a strategy in my last article and will now explain
it in more depth.
How to start So where do you start?
Investing can be a complex process so it may be advisable to use a financial
adviser. They will explain how the process works and carry out the investing
for you. If you choose to do it on your own, you need devise a fool-proof
strategy.
What is a strategy? A good (and hard to find)
definition of a investment strategy is: An investors plan of
distributing assets among various investments, taking into consideration such
factors as individual goals, risk tolerance and horizon.

One in three
salary-related schemes still open
One third of private sector salary-related
schemes are still open to new employees, a survey has revealed.
According to the latest annual survey from the National Association of
Pension Funds (NAPF), more than half of people saving in private sector defined
benefit (DB) schemes belong to funds which are still open to new workers.
According to NAPF chief executive Joanne Segars, this suggests that a
"significant amount of DB provision could survive" if further closures are
avoided.
