Good morning <07 Name>
If you study today's news and the report we will be releasing in next week's newsletter, you may draw the following conclusions:
- 49% of us would bail out of an online transaction if we had problems during the process
- 68% stop doing business with you because they think you no longer care
- 84% say that fact to face networking ROCKS!
- Online sales are up 38% on last year!
First job, get yourself an ecommerce solution that smoothes the transaction element, we have one of them! (Just need more people testing it!!)
Next, get out there and press the flesh. Connect to your customers and potential customers on a regular basis, reinforcing your message and ensure they know you care. Not in some Cheshire cat smiley sort of way, but by introducing them to potential customers or people in the same world; they can have "same page" conversations and feel that there are others out there like them, that they are not alone.
So where to go? Well use our BinB Monday newsletters to tune yourself into what's happening out there and if you know people who are running events, tell them to connect with us and we can help them spread the word.
Then, get out and about in real time and speak to real people.
Tomorrow you could start the day with "the best breakfast in Berkshire" and then follow this in the evening with a cultural event in Bracknell with the INspired Speed Networking & Photographic Exhibition. Friday John Redwood, MP for Wokingham is running his Business Matters Breakfast briefing. I've just spoken to Christine and there's room for a few more, give her a bell on 0118 962 9501.
Computers are great for creating a level of awareness but people buy from people, so use the web to find opportunities but get out and see the whites of their eyes. If you're going to the INspired event then I'll see you there...
