Combat Stress

Combat Stress - The Ex-Services Mental Welfare Society

It may come as a surprise to some people who believe that we have been at peace since the end of WWII, that our armed forces have been involved in conflicts in Malaya, Korea, Brunei, Borneo, Suez, Cyprus, Aden, Indonesia, the Falklands, the Gulf (ongoing), Balkans, Cambodia, Sierra Leone, Northern Ireland (30 year campaign) and Afghanistan (ongoing).

Each of these conflicts, without exception, has resulted in psychiatric casualties. For many who are affected, the problems may take years, perhaps decades to surface.

Good morning <07 Name>

Are you one of Santa's little helpers? We've been sent many different emails this Yule tide and have chosen this, in our opinion, the best Christmas email of 2008, to send to our friends and connections.

This email is being despatched to our whole database to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and jolly Happy New Year! It has a BinB focus, enjoy the content and please contact us to discuss how we can help you grow your business in 2008.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us to build Business in Berkshire in 2007. More and more business men and women are starting to appreciate the power of Internet Marketing and asking us to walk them through the process.

In 2008 we are starting a programme called "Business School in a Box" where business men and women can network and discuss business topics with business experts on the last Thursday of the month. This will be an all day event which business men and women can attend for 30 minutes or for the whole day. Held at a hotel in Windsor, a beautiful setting for both business and pleasure. Currently we are looking for 20 business experts to share their expertise with others who would like to understand more about a particular subject. If you have what it takes to be an expert for the day please contact us to discuss the event on 01753 852904.

Enough about us... enjoy today's newsletter... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year... we'll be back in the New Year to get you on the right track for 2008!

What can you do to help reduce the amount of rubbish produced?
Buying recycled products that have a recycled content is just as important as actually recycling. It is vital that markets for recycled products are developed.

Christmas Spirit - How Strong is Yours?

According to recent research for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), Christmas Spirit seems to be much stronger in the North than in the South - at least when it comes to sending Christmas cards. The statistics, taken from a survey commissioned by the Charities Advisory Trust ('Charity Christmas Cards: Who buys them, how many and where from?'), indicate that 13% of southerners sent no Christmas cards at all last year compared to just 7% in the North.
