Good morning <07 Name>

I will be enjoying one of Mary's Keller breakfasts this morning as this email lands in your mail box. Go take a sneaky peak at our new LiaiseOnline website. We've changed the colour scheme... next job is to re-jig the content, focussing in on the key areas of our business which we'd like to get picked up by the search engines.

Then the hard work begins. We can get them visiting our site... 122,000 took a look at BinB last month and with a fair wind we'll add another 10,000 this month. Now it's time to help those visitors make more buying decisions!

We've opened up our search engine for Berkshire to nearly 1,000,000 pages... local authorities, schools, Police, local charities, environmental websites, historical sites, others websites that relate to Berkshire and the UK economy plus the main sites of our members. With all that content we are still some 8,000 pages short. Do you know of websites that could benefit from being part of our Search Engine for Berkshire? Let us know.

Check out what Sue from South East Training Solutions had to say about our seminar last month. Is YOUR website generating sales leads? Come and join us next week at the Renaissance in Reading. What's on the agenda? Google: Internet marketing seminar for more!

Looks like there's another chap who knows what he's talking about at this Friday's NRG Network lunch in Reading. I'll be there, as the more information you have on which to base your decisions the better.

Then once you've worked out what you're selling and how to sell it via the Internet, it makes sense to have the support of a top telemarketing team to help you maximise your position. RKRM can help you make those telemarketing calls. Make sure you add the contacts and build an email marketing database.

All work and no play... why not pop down the local pool for a swim... you never know, you might be ready to join Nicola for a gentle swim around Jersey, in about 10 years! Alternatively, give her £20 to offset your carbon for driving to the airport this summer!

Have a nice day...

Exhibition Materials from Recognition Express

If you're looking for a reliable supplier of exhibition materials, Newbury-based Recognition Express could be the answer. The company offers a one-stop-shop service for all exhibition materials including badges, embroidered clothing, point-of-sale materials and exhibition stands.

It's that time of year when many companies will be planning ahead and gearing themselves up for 'exhibition season' - traditionally September through to November. With so much to organize for a successful event, the shopping list of exhibition materials can be quite extensive. Fortunately Recognition Express are able to supply everything you need - so there's no need to juggle several different suppliers in order to get the things you need. Let's take a look at a typical 'shopping list' for a company planning an exhibition appearance:...

Building an email marketing database

The recent email marketing seminar run by LiaiseOnline at the Renaissance Hotel in Reading was hailed a success by all those who attended. Aimed at entrepreneurs keen to grow their business via online channels, the event was well-attended by representatives from a wide range of businesses.

For those new to the concept of email marketing, the seminar clearly defined the basics of how it works: simply put, staying in touch with your customers and prospects via email (usually in the form of a newsletter) means they are more likely to think of you first when they next need your services. Some may be sceptical, but research and statistics have proved time and again that email marketing really works.

Lexicon's Nicola swimming round Jersey for Berkshire charity

Lexicon copywriting's Nicola Joyce is gearing up to swim 44 miles unassisted round the channel island of Jersey to raise funds for the Bracknell, Wokingham & Districts branch of Samaritans.

Nicola became the 715th person and the 229th woman since 1875 to swim the English Channel when she swam in July 2004. She then took part in an all-female relay swim from England to France and back to England in 2005.

She has been swimming in Dover harbour with members of the CS&PF (Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation) as training for the marathon round-Jersey swim, swimming for over six hours a day in water that is still below 16*C/60*F. As we all know, the weather has hardly been ideal for swimming outdoors this summer!

Rescuing a Relationship

Avoid acrimony and anger - stay focussed on what you want to achieve!

The structure of falling in love is to only see the good things about the person you are falling in love with, the structure of falling out of love is to only see the bad things about the person you are falling out of love with - neither is a balanced perception.
