'Marked increase' in online marketing spend
Firms are showing a marked increase in spending on online marketing, a new survey is set to reveal.
Self-Employed Percentage Drops
Recent figures compiled by the Work Foundation suggest more people are choosing the security and regular hours of the 9 to 5 in preference to the ups and downs of self-employment. Although there are around 4 million self-employed people in the UK, the percentage of self-employed as a whole has dropped from 13.4% to 12.9%.
Women and The Internet
According to a recent survey by Burst Media, women are the biggest internet users and many rely on the internet to help manage their daily routine. Around 1800 women aged 25+ took part in the survey last month.
