Match
The St Patrick’s fixture is the signature match of the
year for London Irish and one they really want to win. It’s being held the
day after the St Patrick’s day celebrations so their opponents, WASPS, may
have a slight advantage.
The atmosphere at any London Irish match is
great but the St Patrick’s day fixture is extra special and a "must
experience" event. The day starts from 12:00 with a host greeting you on
arrival and a welcome drink. This is followed by a four course lunch in the
Touchline restaurant, your base for the day. It provides a wonderful view of
the whole pitch and the amazing crowd.

This Friday (16th March) is Comic
Relief’s Red Nose Day 2007. Tell us what you’re doing to help raise

Meanwhile here’s the story of one Berkshire man’s money-raising
plan…
Jason Ball from Lambourn has a distinguishing feature: his
extremely long hair. As long as his family, friends, and colleagues can
remember, Jason has always had long hair – it actually cascades more than
12 inches down his back.
But possibly not for much longer. Because
Jason plans to have his locks shorn off this Friday in aid of Comic Relief. Or
at least, that was the original plan. The problem is, so many people have said
they can’t imagine him without the hair that he’s decided on a
different approach. Now visitors to his website can vote either for Jason to
cut off his hair OR to dye it bright red instead. Either way, he’s sure to
raise plenty of cash for Comic Relief.
