Welcome to Business in Berkshire
Good Morning

Thursday we plan to focus around finance. Looking after those hard earned pennies! But don't worry, the yanks are on the look out for European businesses, it says so below. What they don't say is that one of the key drivers is the legal system we have here, makes it less likely they'll get into too much trouble for cooking the books!

Listening to the radio yesterday a chap was celebrating getting a new bank card, 18 months after being made bankrupt. Not because he'd been forced to go that way due to bad debtors... but because he'd racked up £60k on credit cards at Harrods!!!! What sort of examples are these to set the future generation?

At least we're looking after our old vets... enjoy today's news...
